Portuguese Pork Burgers with Piri Piri Sauce

This dinner can be served in Week 5 and Week 10 of my Paleo Way 10 week activation program.

Piri piri (also peri peri) sauce is a spicy, fragrant Portuguese favourite, often served on roasted butterflied chicken, and is nothing short of spectacular. I’m always looking for ways to turn cheaper cuts of meat into flavourful sensations, often incorporating sauces I have tasted on my travels.


Coconut oil, sweet paprika, ground cumin, ground coriander, red capsicum, brown onion, red chillies, ginger, lemon, extra virgin olive oil, free-range pork shoulder, free-range organic egg, garlic, chili powder, dried oregano, lemon, baby romaine lettuce, aioli.
